And without having healed fully from pregnancy, I was an injury waiting to happen. I finally realized in order to fix my mommy tummy and repair my core strength I needed to go back to the basics of my physical therapy training and work on my inner core muscles first. Were you once a routine junkie, where you loved all things routines? But now that you are a mom to a little baby, all routines are out the window. It’s so much harder to keep a routine going for the entire day, let alone even for 10 minutes of your day. You once used to wake up, work out, shower, eat breakfast, get ready and go on with your glorious day. But now your mornings are so bent out of shape that you barely get a moment to pee in the morning, and you end up brushing your teeth at 4 pm.
I totally get it.
Let’s talk about how we can fix that so you can get one simple routine set and in place, and that’s your workout routine.
I know having a workout routine is important to you so I want to help you make this ONE routine a consistent routine in your life when all the other routines fall to the wayside. I want you to feel like you accomplished something important in your life, and if working out is important to you, we are going to get it done. Let’s go!

So what are we accomplishing in today’s episode? We are talking about not knowing how to get started with your postpartum workouts. It’s information overload or it’s the opposite, lack of information. You either have tons of different ads and popups coming at you with different workout programs or you feel neglected by your doctors because no one told you want exercises to do postpartum.
I want to encourage you to focus on one thing. No more scatterbrain or information overload. And no more searching google for postpartum workouts. It’s time to focus on just one... One thing! What's the number one reason why most new moms don't work out?
Lack of Sleep.
It's what prevents us from doing a lot of the things we want to do as a new mom. But you are here listening to this podcast because you want to work out more, you want to find time to exercise on a consistent basis but you are struggling.
Losing sleep night after night is taking a toll on your body. And you don't know how to overcome this. Your baby just doesn't want to sleep at night.
I've been there. It's hard. But I want to share these 3 tips with you to help you find more time to sleep and thus have more energy to work out.
It's possible and I can't wait for you to get the rest that you so deserve. And once you get those extra few hours of sleep back into your life, fitness will come more easily to you.
Remember, this is a season and this season will change, but let's face this season with determination and a drive to stay healthy with or without sleep!
